Ace webpage now has several forums for both general discussion and regional news. This is a place for members to discuss topics of interest. Members may participate in the forum in their language of choice. Forum entries will not be translated. Check out the link. Prairie and Northern Region Forum Upcoming Events: Annual HSCSA Conference & Trade Fair is being held in Edmonton at the Shaw Conference Centre form Oct 26-29, 2009. This Conference & Trade Fair is fast becoming the largest annula Conference in the Province of Alberta that is exclusively dedicated to the health, safety and environmental industries. The educational program includes more than 30 sessions. Sessions range from broad-based to industry-specific topics. Both technical sessions and professional development courses/seminars are offered as part of the educational program. Attendees to the Conference & Trade Fair can earn maintenance points toward various professional certifications. This years technical stream will be on noise, addressing it from five different perspectives: health effects, acoustics, noise control, monitoring worker exposure to noise, and personal protective equipment. see www.hsconference.com for more details.
