Welcome to the ACE Atlantic Regional Website

The Region covers the territories of the four eastern most Canadian provinces (New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island).

ACE-Atlantic has been an active chapter, with yearly events and conferences. This year we celebrated our 12^th Annual Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia and are currently in the planning stages of lucky number 13, so please stay tuned.

We are proud to have members from each of the four Atlantic Provinces and a healthy mix of ergonomics and health and safety professionals from government, private consultancies, and academic research programs. Student members currently make up 30% of our membership and they are very active in our yearly conference where they showcase thier research.

Over the past several years, there have been several initiatives undertaken by the Atlantic Chapter including:

• Local Forum and interest groups - for example the Halifax Ergonomics Interest Group (HEIG) has meetings every four months with the most recent occuring in May.
• Workshops with invited speakers in conjunction with the Regional Conference
