  • WEBINAR FULL: Ergonomics Methods to Assess Complex Jobs - Determining the Cumulative Effects of Multiple Subtasks. 12pm EST

    ACE Event

    February 27, 2017

Historically, ergonomics assessment tools evaluate a single subtask. However, most jobs require people to perform a number of different subtasks within their work cycle. Given the structure and function of human tissues (like muscle, intervertebral discs, tendons, etc), the accumulated effects of multiple subtasks will present a higher risk for musculoskeletal injury than that associated with any isolated subtask. Ergonomics tools are needed to evaluate these cumulative effects, especially for jobs with many task elements. This webinar will introduce you to the tools that have been used in the past, as well as newer tools that are becoming available.
